I'm back with bells & whistles baby!

Bonjewer good peoples of Metropolis - I have news!!! Yay! I have recently been mildly promoted and am quite stoked! I am also going to go to Portugal - to a rock festival and for a week's break. And then I am going to go to watch Foo Fighters in June and then the Red Hot Chilli Peppers in July including going to another rock festival in Dublin.
Yes good people. I have apparently morphed into a R O C K C H I C. I have no idea how that happened but it's ok because I HEART the Red Hot Chilli Peppers!
And then in July I also get to go to the motherland for a while (US) which is like supercool (!) and I get to hang out with a whole bunch of peeps that I haven't met in forever and I can't wait! I wonder if they look the same? If they've changed intrinsically? If they're still happy? If they're happier? If they think that I've changed?

And I get to see my mate - my really, really ridiculously close mate whom I haven't seen in FIVE years. yes. it IS going to be completely and totally AWESOME!

Finally - is it me or is there anyone else out there who gets a little freaked by Invasion?! It scares me because it's so damn plausible and YES I do believe that we aren't the only sentient beings in the whole damn universe. Come on! How incredibly arrogant a view is that? But that's a whooooooole other blog's worth of arguing with myself!
